Educational Technology 2 is concerned with integrating technology into teaching and learning. It helps us to have a deeper understanding on computer. It gives information to the students in which it will help them to learn and broaden their knowledge. Through this computer, the creativity of the students will be develop by giving them projects and activities. Indeed, the higher thinking skills of the students will be developed. Students now a days would easily learn if a teacher will integrate technology. So it simply means that, if a teacher will integrate technology in the teaching- learning process, the class will be more cooperative. They are motivated enough to do the task.  

Midterm- Reflection

Computer now a days really helps us to make our work easier and organized. I used computer for educational purposes and for entertainment. I can say that in using computer, you can learn something especially if you use it properly. There are advantages and disadvantages in using computer. On the other hand, as a student it really helps us to make our assignments, projects and even in research easily. Computer is already a part of a student necessity. A teacher can also use this computer in his/her lesson. It gives instructions and even it provides learning environment. 

Computer can be a tutor but it does not replace a teacher. But, it can deliver instructions and it can give information. Indeed, a teacher will always put the students into a right track.

Educational technology 2 simply gives us an idea on how to be an effective teacher. It does not mean that we were taught to develop our computer skills, but it taught us how to integrate technology in our lesson. This course helps us to meet rapid and continuing technology changes. It enhances our teaching strategies by integrating technology. In the near future, technology will be one of the needed materials in teaching. Using software and other application in the computer can broaden the knowledge of the learners. 

My expectation after I finish my course ;)

Maybe I will better start this with a quotation "Dreams are like stars... you may never touch them, but if you follow them, they will lead you to your destiny"- Ashley Smith. Expectation is what you want to happen in the future. But you are not sure that all of those will really happen. 

I am just a simple person with simple dreams and expectations in life. After I finished this course, I will take a board examination and hopefully I will pass and have my license as a professional teacher. If I will not pass, I will still take the second chance. Hence, I will find job to feed my own stomach and help my family. Making money is my number one objective after i will graduate. I just want to be practical and wise in my decisions now a days, for me to mold my future and let my dreams do come true. I really want to pursue masters degree after finishing this course. Maybe I will invest some of my money in business also. 

All of these are my expectations that somehow I can call it as my dreams in life. But God only knows of what is best for me. I just need to believe and pray that all of these will be in reality in the near future.  

How Does technology used in the education system in your school?

Answer:

*Communication - All students and staff are given their own e-mails upon entering the College. This e-mail is used for notices, announcements and business reasons, such as a teacher sending a letter to the parents.

*Student Records - All student records are uploaded to the Internet using the school website. This is includes attendance and grades. The information in this website can only be accessed by teachers and staff and students can only access their own information using their school email and password.

*Technology in rooms - All rooms in the College are fitted with Projectors and the staff may choose either to use a desktop computer or a laptop computer. The school will provide these equipment to the teachers. The whole school is also WiFi-enabled to further the ease of access to various information from the Internet through the computers around the school and personal devices that the students bring.

He lived at Palmerston North, New Zealand. He also studied at St. Peter's College, Palmerston North, New Zealand.

He is a Filipino citizen and stayed for almost 2 years together with his mother and sister in New Zealand. He is a cousin of mine.
